Mermaid Retreats

Terms & Conditions

To reserve your place please complete the booking form and return it with a non-refundable deposit of $1000AUS. If you are unable to put this much forward, please email Kate: mermaid@iquitplastics.com with a proposed payment plan. We are happy to work with you to make this happen.

To redeem an Earlybird offer, the full balance is due 9 weeks prior to the commencement of the retreat (unless otherwise advised).  For those paying full price, the balance is due no later than 6 weeks before the beginning of the retreat.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. We shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel. Please be sure to do your own research regarding Visas, as each country and situation will be different.

CANCELLATIONS

The deposit is non-refundable.

If cancellation is made within 6 weeks of departure/after the balance is paid then 50% of the balance paid will be refunded.

Cancellations within two weeks will not be refunded unless the place can be filled.

HEALTH DISCLAIMER

We want to share the mermaid love with as many people as possible, so our retreats are full of optional activities. The yoga is open to experienced yoga students and beginners alike, with variations/modifications given wherever necessary. Anyone with a reasonable level of fitness will be able to fully enjoy a flow practice, however, due to the nature of a vinyasa flow style of yoga this retreat may not be suitable for anyone who is pregnant or has serious physical/medical conditions.

As for the snorkeling and ocean exploration aspects of our retreat, these are also optional! If you do partake, we require you know how to swim and are fairly comfortable in the ocean. If you are a good swimmer, but new to the ocean, we are happy to help you learn and feel safe. We will always have a boat or land nearby, but it is more fun if we can trust all mermaids are independent and self-sufficient in the water. Just know that entering the ocean is always a risk, so please be sure to voice concerns at the time of your booking, so we can help you feel comfortable.

If you have had any serious physical or emotional illness within the last 5 years, or are under and medical or psychiatric supervision please advise us at the time of booking. If you are in any doubt about your ability to participate in a mermaid yoga retreat please contact us beforehand to discuss this.

***Please ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to cover you for your retreat***
