Easy Recipe Tamari Sunflower Seeds Snacks
Snacks are a big creator of plastic waste in our lives, as well as fat, calories, chloresterol, and other nasties for our health as we as usually just reaching for a cure to hunger pains. If we take a minute to pre-make some munchies to keep in easy-to-pack small glass jars, we can avoid falling victim to plastic packed processed junk.
These are DELICIOUS:
125 g sunflower seeds
3 tbsp tamari sauce
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius / 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Mix seeds and sauce in a bowl
3. Spread evenly on a baking sheet (with or without parchment paper, less trash without; less water for washing with) and bake for 20 minutes
*watch to ensure they don't burn, stir them if they seem to be browning too much on one side
4. Let the seeds cool on the baking sheet & then store in an airtight container
