I answer your PLASTIC FREE JULY QUESTIONS

PLASTIC FREE JULY can sometimes feel confronting and overwhelming. Like you are trying to balance an oversized weight on your head. It can be so deflating when you accidentally buy or get served plastic, especially in a month where you’re striving for a plastic free sweep. We hope that this journey has helped shed light and brought awareness to where you CAN create sustainable change in your life. As we continue on our Plastic Free Journey may we band together for inspiration in our movement forward.

Be Innovative

Hair Ties -  I find tons of hair ties at the beach in the car park! I soak them in hot water + vinegar to sanitize! This provides a great service to the earth to recycle these stretchy bands that have been abandoned.

Dog Poop - Paper Bags!  Carry them with you so you can scoop the poo up instead of using a plastic bag. And when it’s collected in the garden  use a bucket instead of plastic bags. You can then put it in old newspaper and roll up and put in the bin, or put straight in the bin just before collection.

Have Fun
